  • Regional renowned fish: Tucunaré, Pirarucu, Pirarara, Pacu, Aracu, Matrinchã. The latter two are suitable to be charcoaled. The other kinds may be fried, marinated, “caldeirada” (a thick soup or stew made of clams, fish, vegetables, with potatoes, onions and other ingredients and seasoning), stew, chopped or shredded and prepared in a sauce. Piranha broth is a good recommendation and it is said to be aphrodisiac.
  • Hamburgers for the enthusiasts.
  • At night, lighter meals such as salads and soups for colder nights. Highlight on the cheese soup. Fruit, vegetables and typical dishes such as: pupunha, tucumã, tapioquinha, cream of graviola, abacada, açaí from Pará (green), jambo (rose apple), different kinds of juice: goiaba araçá, taperebá, cupuaçú (a plant of the cacao tree family), among others.
For the Kids:
  • Float riding tied to the boat, cd player with headphones, deck of cards, checkers, dominoes, playing with local kids (volleyball and soccer) and snorkeling among pink dolphins in Novo Airão.

Note
On the boat, there is a first aid kit with medication against seasickness, against stomach disorders, sleeping pills, antiseptics, chlorine tabs, antipyretic medicine and antidote against snakebite. For each passenger, there is a set of bedclothes, which will be washed every 4 days.
